Designing Beyond Earth: The Bond Fund Invests in G-Space

At The Bond Fund, we are continuously looking for new and innovative ideas to explore and today, we’re excited to share our investment in G-Space.

As space becomes a practical environment for commercial R&D, one challenge stands out: experimentation in orbit is slow, expensive, and constrained by limited launch opportunities. Iterating on materials or drug designs can take months - or even years - between experiments.

G-Space is changing that paradigm.

Founded by Ioana Cozmuta, G-Space is building an AI-powered simulation platform that enables scientists and engineers to explore, optimize, and predict how materials and biological systems behave in microgravity without ever leaving Earth.

By using machine learning to isolate the effects of gravity removal, G-Space turns microgravity data into actionable design insights, dramatically accelerating research timelines and reducing reliance on costly spaceflight experiments.

The company’s momentum is already being recognized at the highest levels. G-Space has received funding from NASA and was recently featured by NASA for its role in making space science data smarter, highlighting its growing importance as microgravity research moves from exploration to scaled production.

Our investment reflects our conviction that software will be a key enabler of the next space economy. As in-space manufacturing expands, from pharmaceuticals to advanced materials, G-Space is positioned to become the default analytics and simulation layer powering these breakthroughs.

We’re proud to support Ioana and the G-Space team as they build critical infrastructure for a gravity-independent future of science, discovery, and manufacturing - and we’re always excited to explore bold ideas shaping what’s next.
